Introducing the PrestigeLinks Digital Marketing Scholarship

This year, we are proud to continue the PrestigeLinks Digital Marketing Scholarship (PDMS) for students studying at approved academic institutions in the United States.

Digital Marketing is a fast-paced, increasingly technical field that's rapidly changing. Understanding how it works is deeply important for understanding modern American businesses, as well as maximizing career impact in the not-for-profit sphere.

It is also a field where diversity and inclusion is uniquely important, and understanding the intersection of inclusivity with marketing in the online arena is crucial to promote effective initiatives in the future.

Motivation

We have created the PDMS programme to:

1. Support marketing students and encourage ongoing learning and research into digital marketing in America
2. Understand and promote innovative and novel marketing ideas and channels that will have future impact
3. Promote gender and racial diversity in our field.

If you're a college student currently enrolled full-time in the United States, we encourage you to apply. You do not need to major in marketing.

Requirements

• Studying at an accredited college in the United States
• Enrolled full-time or equivalent
• GPA of 3.0 or higher

Key Dates (2024)

• Submission Deadline: July 31, 2024
• Winners announced: August 14, 2024
• Disbursement of awards: By August 31, 2024

The PrestigeLinks scholarship will continue to be offered annually in 2025 and beyond.

Selection Criteria

Please write an essay of no more than 1000 words in response to the following prompt:

As digital marketing becomes increasingly personalized, brands are faced with difficult challenges surrounding privacy and security of customer data. How should companies balance the risks and benefits of this new world of personalization?

Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality of ideas, and overall structure and coherence of arguments.

Award Value

The PrestigeLinks Digital Marketing Scholarship is valued at $1000. This will be awarded to the winning entrant according to the criteria above. In addition, three runners up will be announced ($200 value).
